This is not looking good....I called Gamestop online yesterday and they confirmed it would ship yesterday......well, order still says processing and I got no "it shipped" email....I tiook the day off work also. DAMN IT. WHY didn't they just tell me it wouldn't ship till Tuesday if that was the case?

I called the Gamestop I ordered from yesterday evening, and was told there's a chance that it will be in today, but it was more likely to arrive on Wednesday. I'm not sure EBGames will have it today, and their website hasn't been updated yet to show the game's been released.
I'll call in this morning and again in the afternoon to see if the shipment has arrived at Gamestop, but I'll probably have to wait another day. As long as I do get the preorder edition, I'm not bothered by this...I wouldn't be able to put in any serious time on the game until the weekend, anyway.

I am, in addition to being a CivFanatic, a Harvest Moon Fanatic. I preordered the new HM game from Walmart, and after about a month of sad waiting, they told me the order was lost 
Besides that, Wal-Mart is an evil corporate business, constantly ripping off every third-world country they can get their hands around. Picture children making your clothes for 1 $ an hour, with no food breaks.

I Got IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! OMG - I GOT IT! The box is beautiful. The smell -oh - the wonderful smell.
It's been on my desk since yesterday but I was working until 3am. I collapsed from my 24 hour shift - but now I'm up on 5 hours sleep. Coffeee! Coffee! Coffee!
The CD is going in my other PC as I write this!
Dang it! 3 hours 50 minutes until work again! Only 6 hour shift though.... then ALL of tomorrow to play. HAHAHAHAH!!

EB games just told me @ 8:15 am EST 25th october that regardless of what anyone has said the game is being shipped today will be in stores tomorrow.

it shows the same thing for me. the pre-order edition was listed as 'shipping within 24hrs' yesterday, meaning they had it in stock so it had to ship yesterday. the regular version seems to be shipping to game stores today.rastak said:

You had to pay for overnite shipping? That sucks. You should have checked the pre-release thread-there was a coupon code for free overnite shipping. My biggest worries will be:
1) Will my wife be home when FedEx arrives?
2) If not, will the FedEx dude take the package to the rental office?
3) If neither of the above, where the heck is the FedEx office nearby, and how do I get to my game????
