What's the best piece of advice for you, now?

I'd say you should be sure to carry a big box file around with you at work at all times. And get all your friends and relatives to phone you up at every available opportunity.

That way your bosses will think you're invaluable and give you an immediate pay rise.

You could also take to sleeping in the office at night, so that 1) you're sure to be the first one there in the morning 2) you're sure to be the last one there at night and 3) you make a substantial saving on rent and heating.
