Well, i was given the honor to organise a series of them, starting very soon. Which is great for me, of course. They will be centered on philosophy and particularly the presentation of some books. So there will be things like Plato and the Cave allegory, the first meditation of Descartes, some random stuff by Nietzsche, other random stuff by ancient Greek thinkers, and a couple of books by authors of fiction (KafkaBorges and so on).
The group is set to be at first around 25 people. I think that is a reasonable number, cause it won't be a lecture (and i think many of those will be older than myself anyway).
I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience with such events, and if they have any advice to offer for organising them. I suppose it will go well, cause nothing much is expected other than general talk and discussion on stuff i supposedly am familiar with already.
