Played my first game on Bts, won on Emperor level (cultural victory), I started my 2nd one and there's something I don't understand :confused:
I didn't build the AP in neither game, but in my 1st game I choose the AP religion as state religion and got the +2 hammers of production bonus for every temple and monastery, in this game I don't. I'm a full member, can someone explain why this time I don't get the bonus? Thanks :)

I attached the 2 files.

I attached the wrong save, sorry: this is the last save from my 1st game.

From the Info file: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=235923

Leaders who share the Palace's religion (or who own the Palace) become full voting members. They also enjoy a production bonus to every building of that religion in their cities. Leaders who don't have that as their state religion, but happen to have cities that share the religion don't get the production bonuses but they still get a vote on all Palace resolutions. A full voting member can have their production bonuses revoked and suffer a happiness penalty if they openly defy a resolution. The only way to regain full membership is to then vote on a later measure that passes. (This same sort of concept of demoted membership also now applies to the UN.)

I'm a full member, same religion of the AP.

I didn't defy any resolution (other way I would not be a full member). Check the Member screen, I'm a full member.
I have a feeling it is a bug: when the AP was built, I had no state religion, then I choose the AP religion (to get the bonus and because almost all my continent shares that religion). First time I voted as a voting member, so it was correct to me that I didn't get bonuses; but the second time I voted the leader candidate I'm sure I was a full member and I voted for one of the candidates (Gandhi) instead of abstaning (not sure about the spelling, sorry) to make sure to get the bonus. If by mistake I had defy a resolution later, I would not be a full member in the Member Screen (which you can check).
So or:
- I don't get the bonus because I don't have a cathedral of that religion (could be?)
- I don't get the bonus because I don't have religion buildings of that religion
in every city (could be?)
- I don't get the bonus because I don't have a key tech (could be?)
- I don't get the bonus for some other good reason (can someone explain?)
or:
there's a bug with becoming full member after voting the first time as simple voting member. If soemeone can help, please feedback. Thanks.

Spearthrower, the link you included is a link to this thread! What is this info file you're referring to? Is it just the BtS Info Centre?

:blush:

That's what happens when you have too many windows open..... :blush:

I meant

the Beyond the Sword Info Center.

From the sounds of it then Yatta77, you could well have hit a bug.... at least it should be reproduceable fairly easily! :)

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I'll try to replay the game twice from a save before the AP is finished switching to Hinduism:
- immediately, before the AP is finished in one game;
- after the AP is finished in the other;
to test if there's a difference. In the case, it could be a bug.
