Download version 2.0!

For some weird reason, the first post of this thread has disappeared, so I'm using this one. This mod adds ten leaders to the game, changes Stalin's diplomusic, adds 2 mapsizes (XXL and Gigantic, both larger then Huge), and a Culturally Linked starts option. Below, the new leaders are listed.

I just uploaded version 1.1. It adds diplomacy text to the new leaders and alters Hitler's personality a little.

Anybody know what the problem is with the pink eyes from the Colonization leaders and/or how to fix it?

Nevermind... figured it out myself...

There's a missing "Eyeshadow.DDS" file... it fixes the problem... you can copy it from just about any other Colonization LH.



P.S.
On a side note, I'm not sure what the "English King" is listed-as in Colonization, but if it's supposed to be George III, the folks at the Firaxis art department got confused on which George to model.

Seems to me the English King in Colonization looks a lot more like George II then George III.

Version 1.2 is up. It removes the weird pink eyes, changes personalities a bit, and adds specific war diplo music to the russians and native americans (the russian millitary march and the native war theme from colonization).

Seems to me the English King in Colonization looks a lot more like George II then George III.

I find he looks more like George III...

Also, George III would make more sense in col then George II, as he lost the colonies.

I never said what does or doesn't make more sense, I said what he looks like... and he LOOKS LIKE GEORGE II.

I guess the hair didn't give it away? Find ONE picture where George III wore his hair/wig like the Colonization LH... JUST ONE.

That's clearly a hair/wig style that predates George III... oddly enough, it's the same hair/wig style of George II.

"Makes more sense" or not, the LH isn't George III to anybody not wearing a blindfold. For the record, the English Colonies were all plugging-along just fine during George II's reign... he also fought several colonial wars, so who's to say George II couldn't be used in Colonization times?

Look, I didn't make the LH... I'm just saying it's either not George III, or Firaxis LH makers are a bunch of idiots (wouldn't be the first time either), making a LH clearly with a hair/wig style of George II and calling it George III who never wore his hair/wig like that.

Plain and simple, it ain't George III... if you want to call him that, fine, but the hair is completely wrong... if you want George III, I might suggest the custom George III LH on Civ Fanatics, as it's a much better likeness.

Oh, and you're welcome for pointing out how to fix the red-eye.

His hairstyle is the same as George II's, that's true, but the face and uniform are much more like George III. Of course you're right that they should have given him a better wig, but like you said, the Firaxis LH makers are a bunch of idiots.
I credited NikNaks for the eyes-tip because he sent it to me in a PM a day before you did.

George II wore read too... it wasn't exactly an exclusive color/uniform of George III...
In-fact... here's George II wearing the EXACT SAME UNIFORM from the Colonization LH... come-on guys... just because you want it to be George III, doesn't mean Firaxis didn't make George II (either by design or by mistake)

You might want to get your facts straight... George II was completely fluent in English... his father, George I didn't speak English well, but did eventually later in his life (the rumors of George I's mastery of English or lack-there-of are in-doubt either way), regardless George II was fluent in English and in-fact commanded English armies in the field... he was the last English monarch to ever do so...

So are you confusing George II with George I, or perhaps Richard the Lionheart, who didn't speak a lick of English?

No matter what... I get it... you guys have a deep-seated hatred for George II and want desperately to use George III... I suggest using a George III that looks like George III... one already exists on this forum... in any case... either by intentional design or moronic stupidity, Firaxis made a LH of George II for Colonization.

I really don't care... I'm going to use the same model and call him (get this...) King George II... just to tick-off are the George III fans... it is, after all, who the model is, plain and simple.

If folks simply must have George III (for whatever reason), why not use Ekmek's George III:

Besides, the animations on this guy are perfect for George III. I like this pompous, insane guy.
