If you play Civ V on an Apple computer, click here to download a version of the Civup and Gem mods from just before the November 1st official Civ V patch.

Firaxis added some things in the patch later versions of Civup and Gem rely on. When you have Civ 5 version 1.0.2.21 or later, you can go back to using more recent versions of this project.

Will the latest CiVUp work on a Mac or is it dependent on the latest patch too?

The latest versions of the project will work if your version of Civ is 1.0.2.21 or later. I now added that detail to the first post.
