India.
Monarch.
Large map.
Aggressive AI.
All others default - unmodded apart from changing Ghandi's name to Asoka.

As the title suggests, I'd like some advice on this game if anyone can spare the time.
It's only my 3rd attempt at Monarch and feels like I'm winning.
Sumeria are pretty much done for.
Persia are nobodys and haven't developed Map Making to be able to leave their island yet.
America and Netherlands are the ones to watch out for.

Well, that game looks like you can win it anyway you want. Easiest is a Domination win by just capturing the rest of your continent with Elephants while researching Astronomy (and Navigation, if necessary) and then finding the other continent asap and shipping the military over there...

How come it is already 750 AD and Persia does not even know Writing yet?!

I did win it almost as you described. Yay for first Monach win!
As to Persia being backwards, I can’t remember. There were some weird shenanigans going on in that game.
