Today, the developers of Ara: History Untold have released a dev diary about improvements and triumphs.
They talk about the improvements you need to harvest resources for your empire, how you make production chains, how they contribute to your victory, and more.
And for halloween they guys have also dressed up!

And we are now at the 10th dev diary for Ara: History Untold.
In this episode the devs talk about the AI behind Ara, and they talk about software engineering, that the AI in 4X games is among the hardest, how randomization, e.g. the availability of resources play into how the AI behaves, and way more details.

New dev diary.
This time the devs talk about gaming history, mostly of 4X. Apparently Oxide sits close to MicroProse, who developed the first Civ games, and many of their employees also once worked there! They also talk about that the term 4X is itself from 1993, coming from Master Of Orion 2 at Microprose, and that is was meant to sound edgy (watch the video ;)). And they also talk which Xs is the most important to Ara, and which new ones they try to add to the 4 ones!

And we are now at the 16th dev diary for Ara: History Untold.
This time the devs talk about gaming the art in the game. They talk about how to choose the style for a game, how to properly represent cultures and how they try to give a customized style for each new play of the game.

And we are now at the 17th dev diary for Ara: History Untold.
This time the devs talk essentially about how wonders and other monumental buildings are getting into the game, from the initial decision what to include, through the whole design process.

Another video, this time a dev Q&A:

EDIT: I find her somewhat...um... annoying. EDIT3: It is informative though.

EDIT2: The summary which I put on the main site:
After many dev diaries for Ara: History Untold we now get the first Q&A. In this Q&A the devs talk about which platforms Ara will be released on, if you can change from simultaneous turns to real turn-based turns, the long path to get map sizes right, and much more.

Ok, so yeah now we know the full roster I think, but just complementing the news before that, Ara did have these 2 videos that wheren't posted here
Now the roster with everyone being confirmed with ingame UI, execept by the Korean lady, as ZDY said above, she looks like either Shin Saimdang or Yu Gwan-sun, but considering the simpler hairstyle shown the portraids it looks more like Yu, so I'm betting one her

I am putting all the new information to come online on the main page in a few days, so I am copying that also here (all the info discussed in the last posts):

A lot has happened with Ara recently, there is a lot to update! The latest dev diary focuses on the historical research goes into the game. GamerZakh talkes to the narrative designer, about how they made sure that the ingame information is correct, how the starting point for Ara was chosen, and which technologies were included.

A second video was released, focusing on Ara's version of the Civilopedia, called the Encantarta. The devs use Greece to show some parts of the Encantarta, the special traits of Sappo, the unique buildings, and more.

Anothe video was released, this time showing some of the early gameplay.

The devs of Ara have released their 21st dev diary, in which they talk about the goverment systems in Ara.
As in the civ games, you start with a basic type of government, and you unlock new types in the research tree. While the government types have positive modifiers, it's unclear from the video if they also have negative modifiers, but the devs said they had a look at the historical impact of the governments.
The leaders have some shared traits, similar to Civ3 and Civ4, and some of them will have synergies with some forms. The other details are a bit more vague, but have a look at the video yourself.
