As Padma also has a long-lasting cooperation and braught his wisdom and wealth into lancre, i would like to promote Padma to "Knight of Lancre". Investure to be payed by me, the prince of lancre!

You can be a non-paid Earl or a non-paid Duke, whichever you prefer.

Yes. The only titles that ever go away are the temporary ones that officials get.

due to our rules, at the moment of DISCOVERY of monarchy,all kings will be degraded to princes.

octavian for example still has a king-title in the overview, and propably even receives the resulting payment >-)
but he only is a prince now

BTW, reviewing the list of Nobles, I find my Baron title missing. I relize that my Ducal title supercedes the Earl, but I am still the Baron of Kultis.

Perhaps a few changes are needed to our rules...

I propose that everybody move up one pay level, with pay for king being disabled.

Kings are only created when a new person is elected president. This would be an appointed position, so wouldn't receive any extra money anyway.

@Padma - You were the Earl of Kultis. That would have become Baron of Kultis after term 3 if you left government service. The Earl title was invalidated by the permanent title of Duke of Omalu. You may still become the Baron (or Earl) of Kultis but will have to do it through regular investiture.

@Strider - You can't change a title to another ranking but you can get a Barony in addition to the nightly title.

Okay. I thought it through after I posted and came up with the same result.

So I will spend 600g to get my Baron title back!
