I used to be active, but not anymore. They have a very long wait for custom avatars (around 500 ). Once CFC has a shorter avatar wait period (300 posts at the time), I started to perfer CFC and now grown to it .

That comment highlights why I'm not a regular poster here. Too many bloody rules and regulations. If it wasn't for the presence of CFC's (excellent) History forum, I'd never make my occasional strays into the OT here.

Poly's very, very far from perfect, but at least it's a little more accommodating and prepared to cut posters some slack. If I posted here like I posted on Poly, I'd spend half my time banned.

In my experience, the mods there are far more willing to put up with more than the mods here do (to a certain limit ), but the people, at least in the OT forum there, tend to be jerks in general...

But then again, I haven't been there in a few years, so it may have changed since then.
