Art's 18 Civs

This is my version of the 18 Civs file that came with the 1.61 patch. Here are the changes I made to it.

Chaged America's leader to Washington.
Changed Russia's leader to Peter.

Also I the all civilizations already have one city to begin with (ecept Greece which owns two cities(Athens and Jerusalem)), and they start off with a state religion (all religions have been discovered).

- The Egyptians should have their own religion. You know, the one with Anubis and Osiris and Ra...

- Mali was never Islamic.

- The Persia of Civ4 is NOT modern-day Iran. It is ancient Persia, which was about a thousand years pre-Islam.

- Greece and Rome had their own religion, too.

- The Incas and Aztecs were never Christian.

- The traditional religion of Japan is called Shinto, and has nothing to do with Taoism. However, I've heard that Buddhism has become more popular there lately.

- Buddhism is virtually nonexistent in Mongolia. It actually started out in India...

He's right on many points. In regards to Japan, the traditional religion is shinto, but buddhist and confucian thought have long influenced the Japanese. Easy to find out if history books are checked.

The Incas and Aztecs were christian once the spanish took them over and forced them to be. Prior to that they had a polytheistic belief system, much like the egyptians, romans, greeks, etc.

Islam did reach Mali, Mansa Musa's famous pilgrimage was the pilgrimage a muslim is meant to undertake. Have to check the books to see how much it spread amongst the people, but since we are talking about islam, and islam did spread into africa, i'd say they adopted it.

Problem with history and religion is that the religion of a country depends upon a specific time period.

You're just being pedantic, the religious choices seem fair enough to me
