You don't have 4 jack to spend... Only 3! Because of upkeep. I find more and more people neglecting to remember about their upkeep in their orders, like I'm just going to forget about it, too... It's simple. For every 5 units you've got (naval or land), you've got to spend 1 jack on upkeep.

My mistake! How about only 2 new military units then?

Story:

The Age of Blood was a tough one. Much land was lost. Crimea. Armenia. The Caucasus. But when one door closes, another door opens. Arabia. Dubai. Doha. Aden. Sumeria had to sue for peace with Egypt, who almost destroyed them, and Russia, who had pulled off upset after upset after upset against the Sumerians. Arabia had been annexed into the Sumerian Empire, replacing the strategic areas of Crimea, the Caucasus, and the Levant. Now, they had fended off most of the Harappan hordes from Elam, even at terrible odds. Three Armies had been killed, and if they did not accept their generous peace offer, then the Sumerians would take more land. Even without Egyptian assistance, they had proven themselves victorious. Now, the Age Of Blood was coming to an end. It was an entertaining age. Sumeria had gained some and lost some. Every neighbor had attacked Sumeria. But soon, the age would end. Sumeria would survive.

Back in these days, it's deffinetly not a mathmatical equasion that plays out on the battlefield, like we have today in our modern wars. Alot of it goes to chance. This is why I roll dice, so that I'm not single-handedly handing out victories and defeats based solely on numbers.

To put this in perspective... in OTL, persia vs. 300... Persia had really crappy rolls, and the Spartans had really great rolls.

I spent all five of my gold on Vultures. That makes nine Vultures.

I won, losing one vulture. That makes eight Vultures left.

Finally, four died of the plague, leaving four Vultures currently active.

(Upon looking at the map I noticed Harappa only has a little more land then it did before the war started. so really, I'd pretty much have the same amount of land.)

Gojoseon got 2 jacks from Han, and 1 loot from land, then shouldn't there be 3 jacks banked? Also, Sabi Market (Wonder's) Progress should be at 3 by this turn, since I started it two turns ago, and I didn't forget to say "Continue Wonder".
