ASNES- My Return to Our Roots

ooc: For those who worry about Amon having Siam, rtor2 saw EQandcivfanatic play as Aztecta for the majority of the nes. Not only does it add interest for the mod to keep this going, but also if done properly it can lead to more excitement for everyone involved. Amon cant 'win' this (not that you can win a nes anyway), but he wont lose all the wars he is in.

Perhaps to prevent the hastles of it Amon, if you want you can always PM me a copy of your orders to prevent calls of cheating. As Arabia I am sure I cant really have an affect on Siam, especially this early on.

I don't have a problem... i'm just going to eat people in this NES :p

I'm not sure that I'd send a copy of my orders to anyone, but keep in mind in all other NESes there are things that are called "NPCs". The only thing different between this and those "NPCs" is the fact that I write stories, and will be much more active in diplomacy with my nation. Maybe in the future, when it gets to the point to where I'm kicking ass, I'll send someone a copy of my orders... But if said person openned my orders before I updated, I would make sure that country felt serious PAIN!

Of course, the main reason why you would send such orders was to ensure that you would not change them. The same restriction would apply to the person you sent them too (they could not change orders)

Obviously this all in the future because we are still posting orders on the thread for the time being.

Organised tribes had been found... The Egyptians to the west and the Sumerians to the north-east. Both needed to be contacted... The Sultant sent out the emissaries as soon as the peperations were made to do so.

Greetings neighbours. We would like to sign a NAP with your great nation.

To Sumeria
From the Arab Confederation

Greetings neighbours. We would like to sign a NAP with your great nation, and at the same time ensure that no more Arab land is to fall to Sumer or vice-a-versa. We thus pledge that so long as Sumeria halts all southern expansion, we will halt all northern expansion.
We agree. We do not really care about southern expansion. So might as well make friends.

Spending: Put one point into improving the economy. With increased access to the seas, along with more ivory and wood to ship, I think that trade with other people could give us a boost in our economy.

Military:
-The one army I have will just stay in friendly territory, guarding cities and trade routes.
-My fleet will go out and search for richer countries, in hopes of profiting even more from trade.

Arab Orders

Expand army and navy once each
Continue expansion. Establish colonies also on the African coastline of the Red Sea.

What do you know of The Faith? You know that it is the only true way to live your life, right? And if you don't follow The Faith, you'll spend the rest of eternity in pain and agony and death and re-death, right? That doesn't sound too good, does it? Well, you can prevent this from happening by converting to The Faith and following the tenants and spreading the word to others. Just so you know.

I got no jack in my bank. :'(

Anyways:

Orders - Raise 2 armies. Invade the tribe that attacked me, coming with an army from it's north, one from it's east, and one from it's south. Crunch them as deep as I can go.

Spending:

Spend 1 Jack to raise an army, to be safe.

Military/Movement:

Send one army to watch out for any western barbarian attacks, but do not appear to aggressive. Send another army and ships out to spread The Faith amongst the islands in the Med. Sea, and have them build little temples and such and teach them the ways of The Faith to get them to join Alderia.

Diplomacy:

To the Western Barbarians:

Brothers and sisters, we mean you no harm, we only wish eternal salvation for your everlasting souls. Can you not see that by denying The Faith, you are only guaranteeing eternal suffering for you and your people? If you do not want such punishment throw out your old ways and rejoice in the Tenants and follow The Faith! It is the only way to save yourselves!

To the Island People:

Hey, how you doing? You don't want to spend the rest of eternity suffering and dying and then dying again every single day for the rest of time, do you? Well, if you let us, we can show you how NOT to suffer this terrible fate. You can trust us, seriously, look at how much more advanced we are then you. We got lots of boats, bigger then what you can make. Its pretty obvious just from that that we are smart and know what we are talking about. So, if you let us teach you about The Faith, and you follow it, we can all be friends and you wont have to suffer for the rest of eternity. How's that sound?

Domestic:

Keep encouraging people to farm and farm and farm, and give payment to the The Faith.

Wonders:

Keep building The Great Faith Temple.

The Voyages of Zeng Hei: Prologue

Servant: Milord, Emperor Houshao has a special assignment for you

Zeng: Ah, Chen, thank you. Do you know the nature of this?

Chen: I do milord. I suspect it has something to do with you being the greatest Admiral in the Han Empire. He will probably give you a similar assignment his ancestor Emperor Gaouzu gave the last great admiral; to colonize China.

Zeng: Ah. Well, as a second son, I am not likely to gain my father’s land. But if I do this, I may become a great man in my own right. Hanoi!

Hanoi: Yes captain?

Zeng: I want you to gather the men of the Imperial Navy. They are good sailors, and good fighters. We will need them if we are to colonize lands. With the great god Amon as my witness, I will bring the word of Amon and the law of Emperor to the barbarian south!

Update will start in 15 minutes.

Skep, if it's true I didn't bank your jack, I'll fix it this turn. I SWEAR!

EDIT- Egypt's emissary to the Hittites never comes back.

Rulers of Beneria:
2892 BC - 2872 BC: First Mutasa -- Known for establishing the Mutasa Dynasty and founding the city of Montaga.
2872 BC - 2860 BC: Second Mutasa -- Son of the First Mutasa, he expanded the borders of Beneria along the Niger.
2860 BC - 2855 BC: Third Mutasa -- Commissioned construction of an irrigation system, but died of unknown causes after five years on the throne.
2855 BC - 2810 BC: Fourth Mutasa -- Ascended at age 5, the first ten years of his reign were marked by turmoil as the nobles struggled for power. However, by 2846, he ordered the creation of a hand-picked cabinet of advisers. The former squabbles were all but resolved, as now the nobles were given a permanent role in the administration of the nation. During his long reign, he strengthened the army and worked to expand the borders of the young country.
2810 BC - present: Fifth Mutasa -- Authorised the construction a road system to connect the towns and farm of Beneria.
