Associate Justices Appointments

Based on their being 2 vacancies in the Judiciary, on Jan 31 I appointed Peri to serve as Associate Justice.

Now, I announce that I have appointed donsig as the second Associate Justice.

I do not intend this to be a discussion thread, there are already enough of those on any issues related to my appointments.

Most of you are aware of the turmoil around the term 2 Judicial elections. Here is an explanation of what's going on, and what will happen.

The Election Office has posted the official results for the election. For the Judiciary, the citizens determined to be elected were:
CJ: Ravensfire
AJ: Bootstoots
AJ: Octavian X

Bootstoots and Octavian X withdrew/resigned, resulting in both Associate Justice positions being vacant. As permitted by law, President zorven then appointed Peri and donsig to the two vacant positions.

There is already a Judicial Review requested specifically for the Term 2 Judicial elections. This will be the first case the Term 2 Judiciary will here. At this point, the only remaining delay is to wait for both appointments to clear refusal polls.
