It is FREE. If, after 7 days of playing you decide not to purchase a plan, then they simply show you adverts on the web page.

There is nothing to install - just have to give your email address to sign up for the game and also again for the forums. It is possible to download the graphics to your computer and set that up so that you don't have to download it everytime you visit - otherwise it is all HTML.

It is nicely made, actually. A little on the simple side, but that is probably good because of how large the galaxies are.

I have a problem... My internet address doesn't get ANY mail. Nothing at all. I can't get any confirmation codes through it.

Hum. This is quite the interesting game. Looking around their forums, it doesn't seem to be very newbie friendly though unless that newbie has a guild.

Oh, and you're limited to eight bases with a free account. Ouch. If I like this game enough, I may just have to bleed a little and upgrade.
