i think atlantis would be a cool civ for civ 4 but what about their UU

There are no atlantians in CIV 3. Unless there is an easter egg that I am unaware of. And who are the "atlantic" people?

Let's leave the Civs to real civilizations. If you want to play with the Atlantians, go check out Age of Mythology and the Titans expansion pack (great games mind you that I love to play).

What we know as atlanitic was actually a real advanced island nation that was whiped out from a volcanic explosion, which altered the climet and whiping out crops.

Civ has always reffered to REAL civilizations and not mythical. I don't want to see the game getting into science fiction.

There would plenty of room for mythical and fictional nations in scenarios and modpacks. Who knows: Firaxis might come up with an Atlantis Scenario as part of the original Civ4 package!
