Audience Chamber for the lose.

Audience chamber and Ancestral Hall switch back and forth in their cue position on the build menu. I personally like to play fast, so when I choose the first building under government center that begins with an A I expect it to be Ancestral Hall because of that thing called alphabetical order. I was playing Scotland seriously for the first time and I was kicking ass except for faith so it took me a while to save up for a settler since I rush built two workers so I could get Feudalism faster. Just built Apadana and suzereign of Kumasi so things are going very well. Got enough to faith buy a settler founded the city and where is my free 5 charge builder? Guess Au comes before An in Firaxis's alphabet again. There is no good reason to build an audience chamber over an Ancestral hall. NEVER!!!!! Game ruined since the last auto save pre-piece of **** audience chamber was complete.

Am I getting this right - you are ranting about a mistake you yourself made by misselecting the government plaza building? What is the point of this?

You have a right to complain and I can see how it will screw up fast play but it’s really the wrong forum for such a thing. It is such a small thing that sympathies for your cause are likely to match the size.
I have enough trouble playing fast and mis-selecting and with these being so smallI always choose carefully.

Slow down for that 10 seconds of the game and you stop this issue with your game being ruined.

Maybe you should expand your tactical depth and use Audience Chamber more often. It's a great building for many different strategies. On some maps, if you delay your expansion too much for the Ancestral Hall, you don't win much with an extra builder.
Not sure if it's the default setting but my game creates an autosave each turn. That's the best way to lower frustrations like this.

OP is a mood. Happened to me twice and it sucked. The only person I blame for that though is myself, for not being able to read.

The Audience Champer should be buffed though. Building it by accident would not be a problem if it actually, you know, didn't come with a malus?

I had an odd problem - I completed two buildings in the Gvt Plaza but never got the option to build a third - any ideas why that might be?

The funny part is it got nerfed even though nobody builds it.

I mean, once in a while, you may consider building it if you end up with no housing and your cities are already settled, but....

I have caught myself in previous games accidently selecting it because Firaxis doesn't put the menu choices in alphabetical order. I just had to rant because it literally ruined a near perfect game.

My speciality is building entertainment districts instead of commercial hubs. I'll have all my map pins set up, adjacency bonuses ready... And I just click on the yellow one.

That was my point. It changes when it should be alphabetical and stay alphabetical without changing.

That will be it, as I was sticking in Merchant Republic. But I didn't see any mention of this in the civilopaedia..
