The Empire slowly grows...... so slowly in fact that this turn took me two keyboard button presses- move diagonally and enter (to end turn) :p

P.S. I can get 1 more man for next time, he just didn't reply to me in time for this one!

Oh my people ... you are much too kind ... hmmm ... I think a landscaped area cleared in front of my thrown ... I can see it now well manicured lawn and a lovely criss cross of pathing stones ... wonderful ... absolutely fabulous ... Oh and for a stunning finish I would need a scattering of some small colourful decorative statues made from the shrunken heads of my enemies ...

We have met the Moches...... Peaceful for now......but our need for expansion might force a change in the future.....

All is well my peoples ... the mighty Aztec warriors will soon clash with more of the mountain savages ... and a unit of archers will investigate a primitive settlement ... we hope, for their sake, that they show the required respect and reverence ...

Hear the words of Revered Speaker IronGold ... I have heard the whisperings of Tezcatlipoca, supreme god of Night and Sorcery, he spoke of destiny ... his gift a spell ... the secret of singing food from the mountain rocks ... we have been kissed by the gods my people ... In the south our brave Aztec warriors have again clashed with the savage mountain barbarians ... unscathed were they until they met the vicious Llama ... beware the teeth of this foul beast ...

EDIT - Apparently Mountains (and I assume Hills) and Jungle can be irrigated in this scenario. :)

As IronGold lies in his chamber, he thrashes about as visions roar and surge through his slumber ... Blood ... A Lake of Venal Blood ... Spurting Hotly from a legion of Beating Hearts ... Ripped from the Bodies of Brightly Clad Warriors ... Clad in Tunics of Hot Pink and Baby Blue ...

Barbarians seem to burst from the very mountains that surround our empire....... but we have a cure..... long pointy sharp pieces of wood!

We have discovered 2 oceans, and named them after things that will last forever.....
The Incan ocean, and the Llama Ocean!
