That's a good idea.

That way I could make my avatar slowly dance! [dance]

How 'bout it, TF? It wouldn't be distracting, IMO, and the size limit would still apply, so it's not like it'd hurt the server.

Edit: You could also have avatars that occasionally switched, for all those who have plenty of avatars to choose from (including me). Even better!

I don't like moving avatars. It gives me the same feeling as big pictures in the signature, although I admit I had one between my 100 and 200 posts, of a childish forum.

What does bug me is the 65X65 avatar size... I'm trying to create an avatar similar to the one I have now but of a real guitar and it keeps coming completely unclear...

Because of the slow frame rate, it wouldn't move continuously, so it probably wouldn't look good.
