Sign an alliance with CDG, and instead of attacking Balance of Power, come and hit GC from the behind! With our armies combined power, and the suprise GC will have, victory will be assured. We will need a couple spears to block GC from countering this attack, but I believe they will be to shocked to counter any attack like this one.

I would like this plan, but it would take WAY too long to execute this attack.

I cant find any pics, but if we get Elucidia to build roads, and we met in the middle, it could really work out well. And plus, we have lots of time on our hands. Think how much money we need before we can upgrade all our warriors.

This only works if they can build roads fast enough, otherwise we attack them when they have cities (not towns) and possibly pikemen.

It would take an abysmally long time to get around BoP, especially considering the jungle that surrounds the northern route. I say just blockade it for now, and attack through the city later.

GC is putting a lot of resources into the BoP, most likely. So if we win the battle, we've won the war.

Sounds risky, but we can pull it off given some short time to build up.

I like it but I agree in will take forever.

or we could build galleys to ship ourselves around BoP.

I rather like the idea of going around BoP through Elucidia, but we would have to start building roads now.

Taking the long way around to Gamecatcher would take many, many turns after we have completed building the units themselves. I'm not sure how many turns that would take exactly, but it's got to be a lot.

Also, waiting for galleys to ferry the troops past Balance of Power would require us to research 3 techs (Alphabet, Writing, Map Making) before being able to build the first galley. Quite likely, the war will be over before this is accomplished.

The war will come from Balance of Power, and that will have to be where we win it.

If we were to get Elucidia to attack the east side of BoP, and we were to attack the west side, we could take out BoP easier.

We would just have to agree that Elucidia give us BoP, or at least abandon the city, if they were to acciedently capture the city.

A agree, while CDG may not be strong, our chances of liberating the lands from GC will be much better. Also I think it should be fair that we should arrange a way to split GC cities with CDG, as an incentive if we have to

Keep in mind, that they may have only 1 or 2 fewer units than we do at this stage. That's hardly the same thing as being "weak".

And, here's a little something to chew on: they are going to have Iron Working next turn. Thus, provided they have access to iron, their Immortals will be a considerable threat no matter how few, or how many, they have.

Mmmmmmm....Imortals. Around 3PM expect my alliance proposal.
