B02: God is an American.

Disclaimer and warning: this whole thread contains heavily opinionated political matter, and is meant to be a (bad) joke only. Lurker discretion is advised.

Demi-God, America

God is an american, and every american is considered to be a demi-god. We're going to play this as a looser form of defiant, with a few twists, and we'll be looking for a 100k cultural victory foremost. 20k allowed in NYC and Washington only, diplomatic victory prohibited. Hell, we don't need to democratically rule over the world when we can have it flock to us by other means.

Looking for 2 or 3 DG+, available players only: I would like this to be a fast rolling SG.

The variant:
As demi-gods, we shall seek to be allowed passage everywhere freely, and so we shall establish embassies and sign RoP with whoever we shall see fit to visit. We will not however sign MA or MPP.
Demands shall not be accepted, nor will peace propositions be. We will only declare to invade and conquer, will only sign peace for people and territory (at least a 3-population city or 2 cities) and will use propaganda and culture flips as much as we can to show everyone that God is an American.

Once refining is in, we shall make a serious effort to control every oil spot on the map.

We shall play against the ones who dared stand against America in its history, be it culturally, militarily or economically: England, Iroquois, Korea (token for Viet), Germany, Japan, Russia and Arabia (token for Bin) -
Terrain would be 70% Standard or higher(60% Std or 80-70% Large), 4 billion temperate normal -
- but that is all to be discussed. I picked the civs off the top of my head, suggestions welcome.

The USA have never been at war with China, so a replacement seems alright. Another replacement could be France/Spain. Germany was enemy in two world wars and should stay.

In response to Lullaby's post, I believe the USA is the most culturally dominant nation today with Hollywood,McDonalds, etc. Another variant victory could be simple domination with somehow utilizing satellite "regions of dominance" all over the world.

i would choose: England, Iroquois, Germany, Japan, Russia, china, babylon.
why babylon??? think GULF WAR part one + part two.
why china??? think Vietnam. 20 odd years of dying should not go to waste.

i can try to roll as fast as possible, but will have difficulties.
it is (or will be) also my FIRST DemiGod game all in all. even a solo game.
i CAN promise to do my best to ensure victory or atleast a slower loss .

Don't like the idea of Korea. England, Iroquois, Germany, Japan, Russia, China, Babylon sound fine. Arabia is no more than a client state and bin Laden a stateless outlaw (so raging barbarians would fit).

you should take in Persia (axis of evil, remember). Since the topic is about God, the godless communists (China) need to be converted as well.

lol! thanks guys, my first thought is that thread would be boycotted and frowned upon

So, Soul and Bede(?) signed up? I think we could give this a go. Soul, don't worry, I'm sure we'll be competent enough altogether - that's the whole point of this isn't it?

You guys are absolutely right about Viet-Nam, so Korea needs to be added as a Viet token. I realize Arabia has very very little to do in the terrorism conflict, but hey, Bin Laden was from there, and that was why I put Arabia.

So that gives us a top 4: iroquios, germany, japan, russia ... those are in.
Then we need 3 more: Korea(Viet), England and last, an east-meditarranean one to represent the muslim terrorists.
My pick goes to Arabia, simply because of the picture of Abu-Bakr, but since I don't intend on starting the game, it'll be the starter's job to pick.

I will update the roster as soon as someone (anyone) posts a few starts. The tentative one is up the first post.
