Ok tbh G&K bored me almost instantly and the balance issues were so insane I felt they'd never be fixed (Austria WTH are you kidding me).

So..what did they do to France. I have no idea but it doesn't feel so good.

Some interesting stuff that is probably overpowered...Venice I guess, not tried them yet.

Aaaanyway, can somebody give me a few brief "get up to speed" points on the state of the game, WTH is that France UA all about and..oh yeah are Keshik's still retardly overpowered?

Just talking single player, probably around Emperor level (I'm getting owned at King currently though so I'm figuring the difficulty has been balanced a bit?)

I'm a bit of a scrub but I'll do my best.

France's new UA is quite good for culture victory. I'm not a huge fan of CV but France is probably the second best choice after Brazil for it. Maybe Korea as well. The whole theming bonus thing basically means get lots of wonders and museums. You also need to swap great works to get the most out of it.

Venice is pretty good on single player but awful in multi especially with cutthroat opponents as you can't generally produce enough units to adequately defend against sustained assaults. And because of MoV people will be gunning for you.

The meta right now is very much to build small and tall. In single player diplomacy is kinda OP since the AI just can't deal with it. Alot of people like Science too. ICS is all but dead.
