Back to Leaderhead crashes....

Unbelievable.

Been playing SevoMod for the last year or so. Did a fresh install of Civ4, then 1.61 then Warlords. First game CTD or blue screen with just about 2/3 leaderhead animations.

Unvbelievable.

AMD Athlon 64 3400+
1.5 Gb RAM
Radeaon 9800 Pro (Omega Driver)

BTW: You did not have to patch the game to 1.61, this would happen automatically while installing Warlords.

This, however, is not related to your problem. What you perhaps should try is a clean reinstall - i.e., after uninstalling, manually delete all remaining civ folders.

Well. I did that. Also updated graphics driver......

But may have to give another go......

I have the same problem with Ceasar Augustus. It was a really cool game untill I met augustus now he keeps crashing my computer (blue screen)

Was just getting into my first game of Warlords and a galley turned up, Mehmed II's score was displayed and yes the game crashed. Have played the patched version of Civ IV no problem on my DELL INSPIRON 1150 for many many many hours with no crashes.

Have spent a little while looking for suggestions but it all looks very technical... I'm not looking forward to spending a lot of valuable game time getting frustrated on this one

Ah, think I may have found a solution in another part of the forum. Looks like there is a known bug with Mehmed II...
