First, thanks for the beautiful flags.

But I have question: Is it possible to use them in mods?
I tried to edit the CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml in the Total Realism folder (and also added the Teamcolour-folder to Assets there), but the game always uses the lame old flags.
Pleace help ... I want to play Russia with historical colours in Total Realism, too

You need to alter one of the XML files. I think this thread discusses flags (as well as altering civ colors):

Thank you for the quick answer jkp1187.

I solved the problem, changing the specific XML-file in the Total Realism folder and adding the appropriate flag file to the folder white_flag_patch/interface/art/teamcolour within the Mod (I didn´t see bevor).

To play the worldmap, which comes with the mod, with the same flag, I just opend the wbsave of the map and changed the line in

BeginPlayer
Team=13
LeaderType=LEADER_CATHERINE
....
FlagDecal=Art/Interface/TeamColor/FlagDECAL_BR_V_RussianEmp.dds
....
End Player
