I really thought I had a reasonably defendable position since I was actually up in material. But as usual you pull another surprise out of your criminally big hat and after c4 I cannot find a move to keep my position together. To be sure, I checked with Chessmaster and there seems to be no hope for me. I will start losing pawns and there's nothing I can do to defend myself.

I guess I can stop having nightmares about this game now. I did my best and then some, but it was obviously not enough. I think I spent over 100 hours thinking about this game.

GG, I had fun.

I doubt I have much of a chance of winning, but I'll take it as a(nother) learning experience. You always learn 10 times as much losing as you do winning. Need to sleep now though, so I'll have to wait some.

I'll also go through this game some more to see where it went wrong. Don't think I made any move deserving of a "?", but somewhere along the line things didn't go as well as they should have. :)

I'm afraid you underestimated my Bishop maneuver Bc3 Bb4 - your Rook was strictly better in my Queen side< - you simply relieve some pressure from my "soft" spots in "A" line. In your place I'd try to use them ignoring my h4 pawn, but maybe I'm wrong.

Sincerely yours, Alex.
