Plenty of

goin' on, but it will be to the next player to do much razing. We did land a couple wonder-rushers.

Hiawatha should be reasonably gassed now. On to the report.
Pre-flight: The die has been cast better to lose Oka than allow our blades to grow dull and our valiant warriors soft. Preparations for war ordered forthwith. Interesting our Celtic colleagues have already taken possession of Paramunga Isle off our coast. I cant tell you how much it touches my heart to see so many of our people happy what a fine Emperor Romeo has turned out to be! Some builds are adjusted, however, as my advisors tell me that Coal Plants do wonders for production, providing the resources for the tree huggers to build their beloved parks more efficiently. Even we engineers do not much care for pollution. Only once our precious environment is taken care of can we afford to care about crime. Your prisons will be built in due time must keep our priorities in order!
New Osaka will soon be newer still, as visions of an Iron Works dance in his head.
Our people take to the seas on a fishing expedition, and fishery construction is ordered throughout the land. Boy are they pricey.
Im flabbergasted that we got exactly NO super food resources from Refrig. Must all be waiting for Genetics.
IBT: The Iroquois have wrested Paramunga from its rightful owners, the Celts. This travesty cries out for retribution.
1605: We meet with Hiawathas respresentatives and calmly explain that due to an unexplained malady, our laborers are only able to complete their tasks at the rate of mere peasants, and thus our labor supply needs a supplement of, oh, 100 Iroquois workers. Hiawatha foolishly refuses our quite reasonable request, so
The Celts pay us 30gpt for an alliance against the hated Iroquois, the Sioux toss in 300 gpt for City Planning, and they join the crusade. The Celts also offer 200 odd gpt for the ability to plant forests, and our income goes over 1500 gpt. We add 8 workers to our force in the first strike of the war, autorazing a nearby Iro city.
IBT: Iro landing on Tintagel isle!
1610: We learn Perspective, set research to Screw Propeller in 6 to rid the seas of the Iro vermin. Our Admirals of the Fleet let fire on the Tintagel invaders. The two Kensai defenders of Tintagel take out two of three invaders. Hussars gather to Oka like bees to honey. Ah, but the bear is there to greet them!
IBT: More Iros line up to die.
1615: Tintagel stands! More slaughter around Oka. A great leader, Patrick Henry, emerges from the battles.
1620: More bloodshed, Patrick makes his way back to Satsuma.
1625: No risk of dull swords, thats for sure.
1630: Sistine Chapel completes in Satsuma (Kyoto is working on Eifel), Mil Academy is rushed.
1635: Screw Propeller comes in (not the best choice, in retrospect, Refining in 6) Raze Iro town crowding Oka. Seen enough swordplay, animate battles is off.

Finally lose our first unit attacking a Line Infantry.

To celebrate the occasion, we get another leader.

Hiawathas gotta be about gassed by now.
IBT: Sioux gets the Taj
1640: More of the same, not gassed yet.
IBT: The Celts betray us and make peace with Hiawatha!
1645: Great, pollution strikes Satsuma as it completes its Park.

Central Bank rushed. Yknow, dont think Bed could have started a more annoying variant. RandR extended with broken workers. Everything takes twice as long.
Iros finally land some troops on the homeland.
1650: Eiffel finally completes. We get Electricity from Brennus, and Replaceable Parts from Crazy Horse. We can finally fight a semblance of a real war now, with Rifles. Time to raze some Iro cities and get some slaves.
Iro invasion rebuffed. Probably need one more army, or five or six Rifles, to go on a city razing spree in south Hiawathaville. Didnt feel like risking our Beachhead to do much more than leaderfish. 10 turns left on alliance with Sioux.
IMPORTANT: We have one District Court already, two more will finish in 5 turns. When Kyoto finishes its Park, have it prebuild Supreme Court. Once Supreme is finished, you can sell District Courts, as they are pricey on the upkeep.
Whenever a city finishes a Coal Plant, have it immediately build a Park (eliminates all building pollution but one), we cant afford to spare workers to clean up pollution. Only build Sewers where absolutely necessary, as pop is the biggest source of pollution. Nara has only plains, so clean-up not so bad there.
Been focusing workers on railing plains and grass to enhance food, along with fisheries, this allows a lot more mountains and hills to be worked. Play around with the mix in these cities to get a big boost in production.
Refining reveals Oil, which is required for Pentagon. Don't think I need to tell you how important that is. Can be rushed in Oka. I don't mind an extended war with Hiawatha if we can use it to get the workforce we need to develop our lands.
