Best... Event ... Ever....

Umm what would the age limits be? I mean demons are immortal... A nod to the redneck games:

Greased Dragons : First one to catch one wins

Nightmare shoe toss: Getting them off is the challenge

Snake Pillar Toss: well you get the idea

Gulagarm spitting: How far can you loogy it out...

Tug of War: Last team standing wins *catch? rope is razorweed*

I think the Elohim would be better at the Martail Arts, their monks are reportedly Quite skilled.

In the Winter Olympics, my bet is on Doviello taking first place in hockey, although I would expect the Illians to make a good showing.

Falamar would make a great synchronized swimming coach for Team Lanun, and I don't have a hard time picturing him as a figure skater in the Winter Olympics.

Calabim are gonna win the "Dine and Dash" event, hands down.

The Mercurians will win at shot put, thanks to Basium. That guy is pretty beefy. The Khazad dwarves should give him a run for his money at the hammer toss though. They've had generations to refine and pass down their technique.

It will be an entertaining battle between the 'alfars in the archery competition.

I can see Keelyn bringing home gold, er... mithril, for the Blaseraphs in the floor gymnastic events. Don't mind her pink ribbon trailing blood all over those nice blue mats. A Luchuirp golem will be here momentarily to mop the mess up.

Those Luchuirp guys would probably make good ticket vendors, etc too. Fated to win the brown "Participation" ribbon? Perhaps.

This just in....

The long jump and high jump have been combined this year with the addition of a catapault and a wall. The contestants must be hurled over the wall and are then measured for distance past that. Contestants must live through their landing but furthest body part does count. There will be no retries at different heights.

Guess it is true, last man standing wins.

The Bannor stayed home in protest. The Mercurians were eventually sent away for attacking the hosts.
Sadly, the Ljosalfar athletes for the 1 mi relay have turned up eviscerated. No leads at the moment, everyone issues regrets, and the Svartalfar were particularly helpful in the investigation.
The Sheaim later used those same athletes after reanimating them.
The Khazad team never got very far on their tiny little legs, and the Luchuirp were forbidden from riding golems.
Kuriotate Centaurs were in the lead, but...
The Sidar come from out of nowhere to win the the race!

Okay, that one made me flinch.

Thinking about this thread really makes me want to see a Balseraph gymnastics team in action. They probably do crazy things like perform the balance beam on their hands just to have a challenge.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned how dominating the Lanun rowing teams are! Not to mention swimming. Michael Phelps? Pshhh, Falamar won ALL the races.
