Best free downloadable anti-virus?

My cd drive has kicked the can for some reason, so since my last system restore I can't reinstall Norton...any recommendations for a good free downloadable anti-virus program until I get my cd drive replaced again?

Avast! is supposed to be pretty good too. Don't have a link handy, but go to www.snapfiles.com and click on Freeware/Anti-Virus. There are quite a few there, including AVG>

Avast! is great. It provides P2P. IM, Email, normal, and something else protection. It's actually quite good.

I'm using Antivir Personal Edition it's quite good and free for private use.

Another vote for Avast. It's quite good. Here's a link to the home version, which is free. The home version is free to register as well, and it automatically updates.
