LOL that cracked me up. The idea behind this thread is doomed for failure for 2 reasons:

1) It is based on the bias of the OP's list of his/her 'qualifying best' games. Unless you plan on listing every game ever made as an option. (Possibly the reason W3 and D2 were left out.) So in this example we must all choose the best game according to Swein's top 20 list and not our own. Which is why I find Stormrage's post so amusing maybe.

2) The thread is posted at a fan forum of the game Civilization. Which makes it even stranger that 3 was omited as well as SMAC and CTP.

Swein, I give you props on your persistance in making these threads. And as much as people seem to hate them, they sure enjoy posting in them it seems. Even if they only post that they refuse to post.
I persoanlly am beginning to find these threads amusing because of the hornets nest that they tend to stir. As long as you realize the rediculousness of the thread Swein and are just having fun, hats off to ya.

Morrowind is my favourite RPG...

Morrowind kicked so much ass. I played LONG sessions of that game in its prime, longer than my civ sessions. Which is a long time. My roommate set the record. He played for 3 days straight! 3 freakin days! I asked him WTH he was doing. He was like "I'm training my character".. He was "training" his character in the sewers of vivec against summoned creatures. He made it to level 99 on everything and then crashed for a few days . I won't soon forget Morrowind. I was addicted. This was only on Xbox 1 mind you. Imagine if I had a pc back then..

The max level in Morrowind is between 46 and 54 depending on your racial bonuses and major skill setup............

Incidentally none of my other favorite games are in here, either, so it's not even like I can choose a second-, third-, fourth-, or fifth- best option. But no Civ3 - the blasphemy!

Side note: IIRC you've never tried Civ3 yet talk about it all the time as if you're an expert...well you ought to try it someday as much as you talk about it. And not forget it in polls, especially on a Civ fansite!!!

Madden is so intelligent. His comments really shed new light on every play.. "He'll feel that one tomorrow." Madden eats too much turkey on turkey day. Anyways, I hate Madden and I like Halo. So your generalisation for Halo players is wrong .

MLG. Are those guys not considered gamers? Their job title IS professional gamer btw... Halo CE was mainly what got MLG going anyways.
