What is your favorite Mario RPG?

The only one I've played is the GCN one (Paper Mario 2), but Super Paper Mario is my backup if The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess isn't in the store.

The only game of those listed I've played is Paper Mario, and that was for five minutes. I'm no fan of Mario.

Legend of the seven stars, never played the first paper mario but I did play the thousand year door and it was really good to. I also played super paper mario and wasnt a huge fan of it. But legend of the seven stars is still one of my favorite games of all time, its a rarity in terms of RPGs in that it was solid all the way through, unlike most RPGs that really start to waver and show short production cycles towards ussually the last fourth of the game.

I'd like to revisist SMRPG: LotSS via the Virtual Console someday.

And Mario's old rival in the videogaming industry, Sonic, is stepping into the RPG genre soon with help from the best RPG developers around, just as Mario did 13 years ago (only that time it was Square, but this time it's BioWare (Hey, that rhymes!)).

I wonder how the producers of Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and Mass Effect will fare taking everybody's favorite blue hedgehog into the RPG world.
