I'm curious about everyone's best results when you change the difficultly level to "emperor+1."
I actually won one (random map with all civs on 1 giant continent) before 1 AD. I allowed myself 2 cheats: I could see the whole map and use the buy buildings-units switch.
On Earth I can consistently win quick conquest games without cheating, but never before 1AD (some were close though).
Never had the guts to try a development game. Once for for I played as the English (on Earth) and did nothing - just watched the computer. That was crazy!
