Beta 13

The Norse are a very well designed, unique, interesting and historically portrayed civilization that you should be proud of :).

Got it. Everything works! Played a little bit; looks very nice so far. I'll check back in and give you guys some more feedback.

narrowed the sound error down
Illegal Index (-1) used in SoundIsDynamicRes() of FAudioManager
occurs only with Genoa during events that have this 'Coin/Money jingle' e.g. when spreading a corporation to a city
- have a save at hand if needed where I'd just be about to spread Hanseatic Leage with Genoa

and a question, why are Apulia and Calabria (southern Italy/Napoli) unstable for Genoa? I Generally prefer Napoli over Palermo but would take both if optional.. Maybe the problem was with not having switched to 'Militarism' but since nobody wanted to trade any techs with me early on (Religious Art, Farriers etc.) I had to research it first and then switching civics wasn't really an option any more.

Noticed a typo in Genoa's UHV conditions.
UHV 2: 'Find 2 Corporations and build 8 Banks'
should probably be 'found 2 corps..'?

For me it was when ever I would select a unit. There would be no sound but the error message would appear.

Thanks. Fixed for next version.

Noticed that the 'not yet' part of Austria's UHV 1 doesn't quite fit into the 'blue box' thingie. Makes it harder to read.
See image:

i believe it would be an good idea to go through the UHV's seeing if some could be changed from "in year x" to "by year x" ... such as austria's get 3 Vassals ... it'll lower some of the lategame (for the specific civ) shift-enter to finish those couple of turns so the historical victory is done

Is the barbarian rampage fixed yet in the svn?

Not yet, sry. Got a little dragged away with the map
But we still want to release the next version this year

3Miro, AFAIK we don't use BroaderAreas in the consts.py anymore
I'm not sure about the NormalAreas. Do we really need those for resurrections?

Normal areas are used for respawn. Broader areas were obsolete even Rhye's original code. We should remove those arrays.

Things are looking good so far. Contrary to my expectations, Iberia is historically doing OK. The new Mongol invasions on the Balkans make things interesting. I think Hungary may be a bit OP. This is up until the Austrians spawn, I will do the Dutch test runs next.

I think I may add an event to retreat some of the Keshiks. When Kiev dies, we get huge numbers of Keshiks left in the area and they don't do much. I am worried that things may be a bit too much for Moscow, when they try to push the Mongols out. I was thinking of finding a good historic time to add the collapse of the Mongol Empire and then remove some of the Keshiks.

Is this with the new map? How long until the next release? It's been delayed so much, why don't we just put the new map in the next version? There should probably be at least one version with the new map before the final release, you know, for feedback.

Barbarians are still very strong in the SVN! Two things:

- Pressing shift for spawn areas. Great feature!
- Iberia is totally different, given the amount of hills, maybe even stronger. Gonna try a Spain run.

The next version is coming out today with the latest map.

Of course, that's how I tried to set up resources and balance on the new map ;)
I was already running some test plays every now and then while it was still in development

I'm not sure this is necessary
In my experience Moscow usually drives them out with Boyars without any problems
It's also good for gameplay if the area is strong until the Muscovian spawn, so noone can grab some easy cities there

Barbarians are still very strong in the SVN!

Yeah I also noticed that. Want to make some further balancing there before the release

3Miro, when should we release the next version?
Probably I will upload my last commit for this version in about an hour
2 hours tops, then I'm good to go
How much time do you need for your final changes?
