I think that is the best solution since its still
his scenario.

The update project has been cancelled.

The future for this scenario now depends on
if Meateater returns or not.

The files for the scenario were too big that's why they were placed on my web space. If anyone wants them just let me know and I will get them to you asap.
 
i'm not sure i understand the status, but my offer stands. i will put whatever files up on a webpage at my stations website. i just need a description for each, and some install directions.

The update project have been reactivated.

I can not say right now when the update will be completed.

Work have been resumed though.

I have spend 7-8 hours working with the update the last 2 days.

The work runs so fast and good I could launch the update
within a few days.
However I have decided to spend more time to add custom
units and remake stats.

I am setting November 15 as target date.

WW2-Global Rocoteh 1.0 will require a fast computer.

All units have been placed.

The compressed size of the download is 35MB.
I could upload it now, but as mentioned earlier I want
to recheck stats and add more custom units.

Thus taget date remains unchanged:

November 15.

I know that many of the old posters in this thread no longer
are around at CFC, but I hope there are still some left.

Great to hear about your progress with the scenario! I am sure it will be a highly valuable scenario, as always. The 15th has been marked in my calendar.

Recommended computer-capacity for WW2-Global:

RAM: 512 MB.

Processor: 2 Ghz.

This will be a unique WW2 scenario on the Global level
with great detail.
Have you ever heard about the Danish submarine Flora?
Well, it is included in WW2-Global.

Thank you.

Playtesting have been very positive.

Right from the start there is a intensive struggle for
air-superiority. I think the scenario have the "one more turn" feeling.
Should response be positive there will be more versions.

I was thinking some day I could build a "Stalingrad Battle" mod, a city like scenario with most of the units you did Rocoteh...

or maybe you could do it yourself... :mischief:

Given CIV 4 live up to what is expected it should
be possible to create such a scenario.

Yes, I plan to make the first version about 80 MB compressed.
Given a positive response I will probably make a Multi-player version.

I´m sure that now that I´m starting to begin a mod, CIV4 will be released and it´ll be so different, that my work will be old. :sad:

A Multi-Player option would be most welcome ... while I find your TGW scenario very enjoyable, through no fault of yours, the AI is pretty lame and not much of a challenge and I doubt the AI in this new project would be much better. Now, Multi-Player - that is the way to go :)

In the multiplayer version I will make should response

Neutrals
