We still continue to Beta test the game, while they are still waiting to release a patch that was suppose to come out a week ago. Nice.

To me it looks like more polished relase then Civ3.

So I refuse to be called beta tester by others.

Of course, I'm lucky and don't have compatibility problems.

Somehow waiting doesn't seem to be the appropriate operative verb. The relative of a few days delay versus what a firaxian mailed to a civfanatic to means that they are still working hard to further improve the patch and test it. Test it? Yeah, test it!

Further @Jake: Nice trolling. You know a patch is imminent. I can already see the flood of notes whining that problem X hasn't been fixed yet.

There are problems w/ the game? Really? The 5,000 other threads that make a "we're just beta testers that paid for the right" complaint hadn't made that clear. Thanks for clearing it up, man. I see the light now.
