Better AI and Final Frontier...

I am not good at the under the hood stuff.

1. Does Final Frontier have its own AI, or does it use the default civ 4 one?

2. Would BAI be good for FF games, or barring that, will there be a BAI made for FF?

Just wondering because the AI seems to be a main detractor for players of FF and Mods Like MOO2 Civ, the Star Trek Mod, and other FF mods...

Nope. And that's probably what's screwing up the AI, because it tries to apply standard AI logic to the FF game - which is a bit different.

If I remember correctly there is a CVAI.py or something like that in the python, could that be it?

Oh no, you're totally right. That's a heap of AI things written in Python! Oh, that's probably also the reason why FF is so slow... it see a couple of things looping through all planets - on Python!
