binkw32.dll missing.... how do I repair/replace?

When I try to launch PTW, it performs an ilegal operation and says that a required dll file was not found. apparently the dll file is this binkw32.dll So I took a binkw32.dll file and put it in my system 32 folder... now i'm hoping that will take care of the problem. If not... I'll be back!

In the mean time... anybody else ever have that binkw32.dll missing? And if so... what did you do to rectify that problem?

Sounds like you're running a Windows NT variant, in which case the binkw32.dll in question is located on your Civ3 CD, in the folder ..CIV3\Bink\Win2k
