VoxPopuli Modpacks (Update: 4.20.2)

Hey everyone,

Made a modpack of my favorite version of Vox Populi with some extras and thought I'd share here.

- Vox Populi 3.7.11
- Enhanced User Interface
- Vibrant Terrain Textures
- Redesigned Colors and Icons

Achievements were enabled before making the modpack since I only play single player and like to get them.
Just drop the files in your DLC folder, if you don't like VTT or RCI you can just delete them and play regardless.

 
I try to play mods multiplayer in Civ without using Agiwan's modpack, and find out how hard it is to make it support multiplayers.

Most modmods (mods for VP) are sadly just not multiplayer compatible :/
 
I am not good at English because I am Korean, so please understand that I use a translator.

I want to use the vp mod pack as a single, can you tell me how to use it and how to apply different modes?

The vp mode doesn't apply or conflicts with other modes (especially MPMPM) so the game turns off
You just have to install the modpack in the right folder. You can't really add news mods to a modpack, you have to do a new modpack from scratch using the MPMP method (see "How to create my own modpack")

Is there a list of those which are? I currently use the big pack with EUI, supersettler, etc., but I'd like to use the coloured and additional religion icons, wonder race, and reseed mods, if possible.

After deleting civ5 and down again, I downloaded vp mode and applied mpmpm mode, but the game turned off. When I turn off MPMPM, the mode runs normally, is vp mode and mpmpm mode not right?

Coloured and additional religion icons should be good to go, reseed mod probably not (at least for the multiplayer part), and wonder race should work if you play solo but no idea in multiplayer.

Would I have to follow the compiling instructions to have them work in multiplayer? Is that the case for any mod, even simple cosmetic ones?

If they are not already compiled as modpacks yes you have to follow the instructions.
 
If you know how to turn the flag on (API_ACHIEVEMENTS).
 
Hi, is there any suggestion of when the modpack may be updated to the current version? I've been experiencing the dumb AI tactical decisions quite a bit in this current one lately, though I guess we don't know for sure yet whether the new version has fixed it?

I am waiting the next hotfix because the current version is worse for multiplayer.
 
Hello, i have a question about the BigPack modpack, how do i make normal units not look like great people (not a one man unit). Is there something in modpack that i can change/remove or shoving Ethnic Units into DLC throught SDK works for fine? Thank you in advance

No you can't and it is intended that they look like that, it reduces the memory consumption and late game crashes.
 
Hello. I was making an installer for the VP Korean translation modpack, and I remembered that the original language modpack didn't have an installer, so I brought it here.

I'm not sure if it'll ever be useful, but I made a script that can create a modpack installer like the installer made by CPP with Inno Script Studio. However, I'm not good enough to make it include SSEM and BigPack. Sorry about that.
