I'm not sure why you waited two turns to trade writing around. You should generally trade thinge right from the "show me the big picture" screen, as you never know how much you'll beat the ai by.

Good turns though. Iron was the main objective, and that was accomplished. Furs would be nice too, but we could always come back in twenty if it gets too hairy.

I just plain forgot about trading writing. Was thinking of only going to war when I made the trades, and it was somewhat of a... Looks what you forgot to do! type of thing. If I was playing solo I think I would have been tempted to reload, but I promised myself I would NEVER do that in an SG, so we all got stuck with my goofs.
