BNW (Mac) - 3 Settlers, Really?

Wow, Deity got a lot easier in BNW.

BNW, Latest version downloaded from Steam. Mac.

Problem: Every time I start, I get 3 settlers, and start in industrial era. Bunch of musketmen included.


Insert Pic here, once I figure out how.

No Mods, don't even know how. I played one full game on BNW with no issues. Started the civil wars scenario and now this..... I have redownloaded from steam with the same results. I have restarted with DLC|BNW deselected. Same results.

Thoughts? Help?

In the game set up settings screen, advanced settings, you get to change the starting era in which you begin. Seems that when you play the Civil War scenario, this defaults to the Industrial era, which seems likely to be a bug. Change that to Ancient Era and you should be fine.
