Would anyone be willing to doa break down of the woner sets? i don't ahve time, sadly with work and school. But I find I rarely build national wonder sjust because I'm always worried their might be a better one to build down the line. Suggestions anyone? What wonders are must ahves, what wonders are must ignores, and what are the best natonal wonders for various play styles?

You can and should build all the national wonders. You're only limited to having 2 per city. So if you're building iron works (+ production) then you want to build it in your best production city. You want to build the Heroic Epic in your military unit city (which is probably also your production city). Oxford University in your best science city. Wall Street in your best gold city, etc. It's just a way to further specialize your cities and enhance their strengths.

I think it means that the city with Iron Works gets a 50% bonus in production provided that it has access to coal and iron; i.e. that somehow through trade or mining you've got these resources and have built a road to that city to carry them there. Unlike in Civ III, the two things don't have to be inside the city radius.

I like to stick the Herioc epic in one of my better production cities but not my best. Reason being I can put out units fairly quickly in my production city so I find it better served to have another city on par with my that city than to put all my eggs in one basket. Especially if I don't want to tie up unit production for wonders or vice versa. My question is what National wonder combos does everyone like? I like to combine the Herioc epic with the one that gives every unit +4 experience (forget the name). I find that to be an especially effective combo.
