British Regular (Early 1800's)

There done, I am quite proud of myself. :D Just uploading now..

Good work, but are there any xml files attached? How am I supposed to install them if there aren't any!

The old hard way. ;) I haven't figured out the modular thing if that is what you mean, sorry.

So the tutorial Woody posted will be were you want to go.

Hey I figured out the "do it yourself" XML mod way.

You have to anyways if you want to mix-and-match "the best of" units that folks offer for others.

There's so many talented folks here doing so many differant things, I can't limit myself to just "one-guy's vision" of Civ4... I'm mixing and matching many differant units from many differant modders into my humbly named "Wolfshanze" mod... for me and me only (who else would want my hodge-podge work anyways?). I've borrowed from so many modders, I don't even remember who to give all the credit too!

Hitler's head here... Immortal guy there... a Waffen SS guy here, A Norman swordsman there... a French Biplane over there, some 1800s warships here, a Prussian Musketman there... the list goes on...

It's just best to make your own XML changes and move on unless you're in love with ONLY one-guy's mod!

Right. There is much work, though, to implement all those units. It seems that I have no choice if I want them in my games, and because I want them, I will have to go through all those tedious xml work. Thanks anyways for the units. They are awesome! Keep up good work!

It's not too hard to add a unit here or there... it gets tricky if you want to start doing the "Ethnic" units in BtS, like Settlers and stuff. I did a lot of cut and paste work from the Ethnic Settlers mod (XML) to get those guys into my own custom mod.

Otherwise, if it's just adding or replacing an existing unit, I usually do the XML work myself.

I have already added them. I made a modular xml files to give a new look of English units. The first set is the most time consuming to set the path and get familiar with all the necessary files, then it is a matter of coping the files, entries and changing the names of the files. Often the data is the same so there is nothing to change. It took me some time to figure it out, though.
