I get a few errors on startup about colors

The solution is posted in the previous page. Edit a XML file is very easy:
Open it whit notepad and change the things that you find in the previous page.
Once you did this, save the file and it will works.

Yes, I fixed the problem now, unfortunately the game still crashes if I pick custom scenerio it crashes after I pick a civilization and if I pick Play scenerio it crashes after it starts loading, do I need colonization to play this mod?

What this mean? Fix and keep crush??? Btw see what kind of error the game give to you. If is still about color LIME, check how to fix it in the previous posts!!!

hi,

i have a problem with your mod ! After 1 and a half hour playing My Graphics memory runs full and game is closing... i have 768 mb of graphics memory.. how could that be ? Playing in highest resolution because on my 22" wide screen monitor anything else looks realy bad... Is it because my kingdom gets too big ? I have nearly all northern america captured and whole map clear with satellite... Or is it maybe the reason why in the original game you cannot do that muchs civs in one game ? Plz help and dont say turn resolution down is the only thing :-P Detail lvl is already from highest to middle didnt help...

Theese problems are related to Video Grapich\Memory\Driver of each computer and I'm not able to say anything for the solution. I'm sorry.

I can give you support just for Game Bugs or crashes related to the mod and not to the memory... I'm sorry man.

it's weird great priests of all nations cannot enter city as a specialist when using this mod. Has anyone ever met this kind of issue before?

I can see the description when mouse over the icon. But nothing happened when I click it nor scroll bar alongside it.

Dude, you are the first one with this problem... BTW be sure that you discovered PRIESTHOOD. Without him you can't use Priests as great people.
I bet that this is the cause.
 
No, I don't think so. There should be no precondition for using great people including the great priest, right?

However,afterI discover a religion and use great priest to build the great religion temple, all button of next great priest works. The point for the error may be caused by the too many icons of the great priest and the scroll bar of it doesn't work.

Besides, when you select a great priest and double click to view the detail of city, you cann't back to the normal view by pressing ESC.

how did you make the 40 to 50 civ conversion? Did you edit a WBS file? Or did you start a new file and recreate map, etc...
For a mod I made I am trying to bump up the civ numbers from 18 to about 30. However, whenever I try to apply some of the other mods out there (which allow 40 or 50 civs at a time), the scenario file doesn't start correctly.
I was wondering if you had any advice/suggestions for how I could do what you have apparently done quite easily.

The "manipulation" is very simple and you should do that if you want to keep playing this mod, cause the LIME problem is not a bug and will not be changed. See some posts before how to change. :rolleyes:

Guys you misunderstand me... The "new version" has a 50 civ ddl gamecore file, but always 40 civs in it!!! this is useful for players who wants COLONIES or VASSAL STATES option enabled. with this new game core, you can have colonies! :goodjob:

This is a good question...
Ok, pay attenction now,

FIRST you need to have a Civ4gamecore.dll that allows 50 civilizations in game. Once you have this, you can OVERWRITE (after a backup copy) the previous Civ4gamecore.dll that allows "just" 40 civs. (I use Solver's 0.19 unofficial patch for reach 50 civs).

SECOND as you say, you need to edit the WBS map file. This will be hard to do... you need to put "Begin Team" and "End Team" from 0 to 49 and do the same things with "Begin Player" and "End Player" from 40th to 49th civilizations, just leaving them EMPTY!

Once you do this, you launch the game and edit the map, where you NEED TO CLEAN ALL CIVS UNITS and CLEAN ALL Discovered Tiles for each civ.

Then you replace starting points for each civs and save the map.
Then you have clean each wrong "ContactWithTeam" tag that is in the WBS file.

Once you've done this, the new map is ready. BTW, in my mod, i did this for you! :lol:

My question is, I have destroyed 3 civs in my current game and yet they still appear active. They have no cities left (I have checked by entering the world builder). Would this be a bug or possibly a setting that has been enabled? I am somewhat new to this game so I may be missing something

Yeah, that's a game option enabled called "total annihllation" and not a bug.

Play a CUSTOM SCENARIO game in the Mod and Just UNCHECK the box in the game options and you will not have this problem again... :crazyeye:
