Earth Giant Map balanced for this mod. It's the main map for play the mod.
6 New Resources (Olives, Cotton, Tobacco, Coffee, Potatoes and Exotic Fruits).
8 New Civilizations.
17 Religions in game!
Inquisitor unit with Religious Victory feature.
Limited Religion feature added.
Different Gamecore.dll up to 40 civs compatible with BTS 3.19.
Varitas Delectat 6.1 Mod Included.
JARM mod included (but modified by me).

Cannot get it to run with 3.19 patch installed. Crashes at XML. Any ideas why?
 
No problem for me.

I started with the Byzantins (with vassal states agreed) in Marathon, level Prince.

I'm in 1160, second power in the world, the firts with 4 vassal are the germans and they desintegrate the egyptians who are less powerfull than precedent versions.

That's GREAT !

I don't know if is normal : i can discover only one religion although i discover first monotheism, theocray, etc...

+1 for the return of the Greeks !

Impossible. This is for 3.19... Check if you did all right.

I started with the Byzantins (with vassal states agreed) in Marathon, level Prince.
In this map you need to play at MONARCH skill and NORMAL time if you want an HARD GAME... :D :D :D

Don't you read that I added Limited Religion feature??? (Game looks more balanced with Limited Religion). Only 1 religion... It's normal! :lol::lol::lol:

mmm I DL the lastest version and install the unofficial patch for 3.19 and i think s fix ;p
 
I uploaded a small fix for this mod: I think that all savegames should work with this "2.3b" version.
This fix I upload add 1 new religion for Russia and Byzantine civ and increase the probability that different civs found religions each time in early game.

- Replaced Druids religion with Orthodoxy. - specially for Lean and Lachlan :)
- Some Resources relocated. - This should let more probability that religions are founded by different civilizations in each game and not always by the same civs.
- Ottoman Empire starting point relocated.
- Bonus Coffee revealed with Mechanics Tech.

And, I forgot to say... I will add theese terrain in next version: Colonization Base Land Terrain without marshes

Nice, i answer a few late but i will redownload this...

I think since a moment to have a new laptop pc like the ASUS W90VP...

Do you recommend a Q9000 (4 X 2.00 Ghz) or a dual core at 2.53 Ghz...

Since Asus has an overcloking function...

It is possible to make that Civ 4 completely use at 100 % a quad or dual core ?

If not i still wait...

Actually, i have a pc with Vista 64 bits with only 4 Go of RAM so it seems that 6-8 Go of RAM should be better, perhaps ?

I actually encounter a lag, me too...

I really dunno why so many people love to play this game with the "East Roman Empire" :confused: By the way, I play this map usually with Rome, Incas and Japan at Monarch skill...
 
I play on monarch as well. I suppose the reason so many people play as the Eastern Roman Empire is because their situation is fascinating to a lot of people. They faced challenges Rome as a whole only barely experienced: The loss of territories so fast, the blend of Roman and Greek culture to such an extent. I don't know, my reasons for playing as the Eastern Romans is because I kind of feel like something should've goen in their favor along the way:Such as repelling the Muslim conquerors, or being able to hold on to their European territories, ect.


Anyway, I started a game late last night, so there are really no updates to it. I'll post up when something intresting happens.

Or Parrots in Amazonia ?
Or Phoques (cant find the english translation) and White Bears...
Or Bisons and Grizzli in North America ?

Or Adding a few civ on this map ?

7) North American Inuits

Since 6) and 7) are Inuits are same people, they could share same UB and same UU...

Hi, I'm not sure if the mod is supposed to be like this, or something just went wrong when I downloaded it, but I have come across a few problems... First of all, there are a lot of feature/unit graphics from Varitas Delectat 6.1 that are missing, or just not there. For example, the Japanese units are just variations of the chinese units;example - the japanese swordsman is the same as the chinese swordsman, but with one generic swordsman in the group of 3. This problem exist for a lot of other civs, such as the English... Also, the maceman is still called a maceman; in Varitas Delectat 6.1 it was renamed to "heavy footman" - same goes for the heavy horseman I believe... I also noticed that there is very limited city style change in civ to civ... I love this mod, and feel you did a great job on it; I just want it to feel more "complete". Are you using all of Varitas Delectat 6.1 or did you omit some of it's features such as the ones I listed above? Or is all this just the result of a download error?... Does anyone else notice this? Haha, and where teh F*** are the Greeks?

Don't give up lachlan! I know it's hard, but Monarch is the right difficult level for this mod! Don't you love that TOTAL WAR EXPIRIENCE? Huge armies, lots of enemies... 5 Civilizations vs Yours... All out WAR!!! :D

Dude this mod will rest 2.3c version for long time... It looks like this is the most "balanced" earth 35 civilization version I've ever made. Maybe Greece will come back a day with some map modifications for let them be stronger.

This is just the greatest mod ever!

Thx for bug report. I've seen this too. I don't really know how this "error" can happen cause I merged Varietas Delectat 6.1 properly... :confused::confused::confused:

No ROOM in Europe. That's why I kick them from map. In previous versions Greece was always LAST in score so I decided to remove them... BUT, MAYBE, I will put them back changing some map plots: i will make a bigger east mediterranean sea with some islands and move the Egypt coast some plots down... Maybe.

Was the problem with the merging of Varitas Delectat into your mod prelavent in all other versions of your mod? Maybe you are using an earlier version of Varitas Delectat? If all else fail, you could always just go for Divercia (sp?). I will now rate your thread
 
Another bug; there is no text description for the Orthadox religion. There were a few others I noticed, but I can't seem to remember them ATM...

Because it seems that religions appears only in ancient world, i dont understand why americans civs not found a religion....

Dear Liambane, i have one good idea for your SCN/MOD :

You preplace only the capital of all civs, you suppr settler from start, you add a new unit called militia 1/4/1, at one instance by capital and not buildable...

And for religions you preplace the Holy Cities, where the interest to have more civs like i suggest for balancing 16 preplaced religions...

Well, time ago I created a 2.3d version with PRIESTHOOD tech that found religion but the game was a mess so I never uploaded that version.

And for religions you preplace the Holy Cities
This will corrupt the game. Holy Cities are powerfull. give them for free isn't right.

If I put the unOficcial patch game core on your mob, would affect my save games?
Dunno but the GAMECORE.DLL are not compatible with mine. I use the BetterAI dll.
