Yes, industrial and modern Polynesia! I'm looking forward to these.
 
Well the next units I am making are for Turkey (Industrial-era units). I won't really make Polynesian units until I start putting together the Polynesian civ, which should be soon because I'm trying to get a few more sets finished up tonight. I already have a concept for the Polynesian units, but they may not be what you expect. They're going to be "what-if" Polynesian units, sort of. You'll see, I think they look cool myself.

Speaking of what-if units, here is a screen shot of some mounted Zulu units, I named the image the Zulu Zoo. There seem to be an issue with the Chariot, but I'll post this in mechaerik's thread...
 
Next up are the Turks (I am changing the name from Ottomans to Turks), I have to make some Industrial-era units for them, but I think you guys should like them a lot. They will be based on the uniforms found on THIS PAGE.

I haven't decided exactly which ones yet, but they'll look good.

EDIT: The Janissary replaces the Musketman right?
 
I love the Zulu units. What does the Giraffe warrior replace? Horse Archer?

And funny think is if the Zebra was just a little bit less rude it would be reality to.

Also, did you do the Incan units yet?
 
Yeah the Giraffe Warriors are actually Archers. They use the Arabian Camel-Archer animations.

Yeah I have. Do you have an idea or a suggestion? They're pretty good, they are all basically Bakuel's units with Chuggis for the modern era, so there are no issues with them at all really.

Just a bit curious is all, What civilizations are left for unit graphics?

A Llama Knight might be cool, but there isn't one around so I'm not sure it can be made. I am not capable of making it, so for now I'll have to take what I can get.

As far as civs that are left; The Franks (HRE), Mongols, Polynesia, Israel, Iroquois and Vietnam. All of them but the Mongols require some changes though (as far as game text and UU/UBs go) so the only regular civ left is the Mongols and I already have a full set for them. I'm hoping pencilgod finishes skinning Salamasina and Kamehameha for me shortly. The rest should be relatively easy, as I have most of the units already made (Polynesia and Israel will require some extra work). I'm not sure what to go with for the Frankish Industrial-era units, but I think I can come up with some decent stuff.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot; I am working on the Turks right now, but I seem to have hit a small issue with one of the Industrial units. I am hoping to get it fixed up shortly. I wanted to try and get the Turks finished tonight, but what I suppose I could try to do is work on them up to the one unit I need and go from there. We'll see what happens though.
 
The Turks/Turkey are replacing the Ottomans. Istanbul will no longer be the capital, instead I believe Ankara will be the capital.

The Native Americans are being split into the Sioux and Iroquois.

The Franks will replace the HRE.

Vietnam, Israel and Polynesia will be new civs.
 
Hmm, I know that u don't want many new civs in the main version, but never thought of adding some more?
I'm just thinking of the civs which already have unique art for their units (and of course proper LHs too), so it probably won't be that much work...
Altough i'm sure u will put them at least in the deluxe edition/module packs, Hungary, Nubia and Poland could easily be in the core version IMO. Maybe Australia, Canada or bernie14's Cuba could make it too, but especially the first 3...

If they aren't, you can download them for it. Just download the module pack rar, then extract it to the mod's folder. Bam, instantly got the other civs.

Btw of course there are many new civs planned to be included in the module packs.
But they are still not in the main version, and some of them could/should be (at least in my opinion), and thats what i said in the first place...

I think Poland, Hungary and Austria should be in the Core game, and nothing else from Europe.

Than the Hittites and Siam and I think we are done with civs.

Capo, what is your opinion of adding a Zapotec civilization?

I'm making one, but I need a UU and UB graphics and leaderhead. :\
