I thought that was pretty clear by my last post, so here's the planned itinerary. Any of this can change at any time, so do not be surprised if it does...

1) Flavor the units for the base civs (FIRST DRAFT IS FINISHED)

2) Add new civilizations. <--- THIS IS WHERE I AM

3) Double check all of the flavored unit sets.

4) Add Great People.

5) Add ethnic city and improvement art.

6) Double check all of the flavored unit sets.

-FIRST PLAYTEST-

7) Add new leaders for all civs.

8) Add new religions to the game.

9) Double check all of the flavored unit sets.

10) Add inquisitors to the game.

11) Add spy promotions to the game.

-SECOND PLAYTEST-

12) Add pirates/natives spawns, flavor their sets and double check all of the flavored unit sets.

13) Add the new techs and units for the future era to the game. Flavor some of the future units.

14) Make any other modifications necessary or planned (dynamic names, Manhattan Project etc.)

15) Double check all flavored units and artwork for that matter.

-THIRD PLAYTEST-

16) Edit the HUD, title screen, civilopedia etc. to my specifications, polish and release.

EDIT: You may wonder why I'm doing so much double-checking. This also means updating in case new units come along, but with the amount of units I'm adding its easy to miss things and I've already caught a few so I'm sure I'll catch more. That's why I'm doing it so often.

So there is still plenty to do, but the unit flavoring was certainly the most work as far as compiling the units and creating XML for them. So it should all progress a little quicker now (hopefully).

Anyway I was searching the net for Israeli Military uniforms and, not surprisingly, most of the images I found were of cute chicks from the Israeli military. Damn internet. So I figured I'd include one female model in the Infantry set. I hope to have the Israelis finished within the next couple of days (if I have time). Every new civ I add will only have one leader until I get to the add new leaders phase of the mod. This is mainly because I am redoing a lot of them and this way I have them all in front of me at once. I am going to use Joshua to see what he looks like in-game, but does anyone have a suggestion for his background?

The river Jordan could be neat. Or some Sechem ruins.

Cute chicks in military uniforms... Not a good thing! And I'm not being chauvinistic here, I think the world would be better with more female leaders, but drafting women to the army is something I'm against. In Russia they say that the army turns boys into men. I say that in Israel the army turns girls into men- and this is really ugly! So I'm actually disgusted when I see a woman in uniform (especially the ugly IDF uniforms).

There's nothing wrong with cute chicks, but they aren't the images I am looking for. That's all. I'm getting sick so I might take a day or two off from modding to get better, I've been staying up late doing this stuff and I don't want to do that while I'm sick.

EDIT: And yes, their uniforms are awful.

sucks dont it. When is the last time you searced for spartan?? Hope you like looking through master chief and gerrard butler pics. Dont get me wrong I like "300" but I definitely curse the day Halo and for that matter xbox 360 was ever created.

I did notice something relatively funny though, by complete accident I skinned that Hector and added that head-band and it looks nearly IDENTICAL to this image of Joshua on some kid's book....

...very weird. I almost think that is a bad thing.

Believe it or not I am having an extremely difficult time making certain Israeli units (Infantry, Machinegunner and Anti-Tank Infantry) which sucks because I figured it wouldn't be this difficult at all, I'm sick, and my ing dog is being an ....

I tried to help, but I think we're using the same techniques, which are apparently only useful for finding israeli porn.
Makes me wonder if I search for israeli porn I might find good reference shots for this.

Sadly, if you just went for basic Israeli uniforms, it wouldn't really be unique. IDF's is basically just solid color olive.

Modern Israel doesn't really need to be that unique, though. I guess.

I was referring to early-modern (like six day war era) but I just finished them. Now I have to come up with a Cuirassier and a Musketman, although I already have one (but apparently it doesn't work perfectly, I have to see it in game first).

Actually, if you search israeli porn, you'll probably just get furries. Everything leads to furries.

For Six-Day War soldiers you can obviously use this very famous photograph of the paratroopers (it was the only time in history when they were actually used as paratroopers, as much as I know).

For Marines just look for Shayetet 13 pics.

What else do we have? SAM Infantry?
