[BtS] DIPLOMACY: a mod for Diplogames!

I'm having a hard time deciding how to color the berbers.

This will be their symbol, by the way.

Hmm, we are running out of colors. I have no idea!!! :crazyeye:

Anything close to clay color left?

I would honestly try to avoid a clay color. The Apache and Sioux will have similar colors, and I know that the Berbers aren't around them but if you add a third similar color in there they'll all look really similar. Perhaps we can do an extremely light color, or some form of blue that we haven't used yet (I know we have used a lot of blues actually), maybe a type of Orange? Its hard to say really. We could always have similar colors repeat (it is inevitable after all) but I'd like to avoid it. Fortunately we have plenty of time to determine the Berbers' colors.

I don't think we've done Ecru yet. I think I might use that.

Don't really know what that is, but good luck with it!

I am having a very hard time making the last few units. Its difficult to determine what they should look like (to go with the others that is). If anyone knows where I can get a swordsman unit (as far as animations go at least) that uses a spearman's body and any other units head that would be VERY helpful to me. I have a good idea as to what I want to do for the Assyrian swordsman but I can't find this template to use (and I don't have the skills to make it myself at this point). So if you know how I can do that, or where I can find that I would be in your debt! Anyone...

EDIT: I just looked up Ecru, good idea. What color are you going to match it with though?

Mongol brown, I think.

Like Poland's color? Yeah, that's good.

I just took a look at some Filipino warriors and its going to be pretty hard to throw the set together. But I still think its possible and already have some ideas. The native Filipinos had some distinct uniforms. Anyway I'll do the Philippenes next. Once Assyria is finished that is.

Siam'll probably end up being the easiest. They'll pretty much just be the Khmer. I guess it might be a bit hard to make them a bit more unique looking, though.

I'm done with the Berber flags. Now I'm going to do some alternate flags. I already did one for Romania, the Wallachian raven. Guess what I'm doing for Canada!

Actually I think Siam will be relatively easy to make. There are already some units out there by Zerver (I think), and since I have been texturing these new units (the Assyrians are all simple retextures with "ancient near-eastern" heads on them) I think I'll be able to give life to his units, a lot of them are pretty drab and simple looking. Of course I'll be looking them up too to get an idea as to what I should be going for.

Puerto Rico's should be the easiest to do. It'll be similar to my other Latin American nations in that the ancient units will be like native units, the medieval will be Spanish, and then I'll go on from there. I'll probably go Filipinos, Boricuas, and then Siamese.

I actually have no idea what you could be doing for Canada. A moose maybe? Although I'll PROBABLY use the original Maple-leaf flag ultimately.

Yeah. But you said you were giving the option of switching stuff. I still expect you to use the maple-leaf flag, but, variety is the spice of life.

It's a beaver.

Man, that just gave me an idea for France... nah, the poodle would probably be going too far.
