[BTS] MarnzMod

Small bug in the civilopedia-text of the Reichstag: it claims to Reduce Maintenance in nearby cities, add 25% War Weariness and add 25% War Weariness to the enemy.

I have a bug to report: when playing this new update 1.8, the icons for the new religions actually appear as corporation icons in the city bar.

Oh, one more thing: somehow I managed to research Writing before Oral Tradition, even though in Oral Tradition's tip it says that it leads to Writing. Is this supposed to happen?

As in vanilla Civ, many techs have multiple research paths.

One file would be too big to put on rapidshare. Your problem with filefront may be your computer is set up to use a download accelerator. I don't think filefront is allows the use of accelerators.

Also I read you shouldn't use AOL browser for filefront. You can try looking through their supoort center here.

I pulled the resources out of those mods my self. I don't if there is a seperate resource mod. You can check the mod component thread.

Ok. What about moving Oral Tradition to be a starting tech where Mysticism would normally be. Then just move Mysticism to a follow-up to Oral Tradition? I mean, logically, Mysticism is about communing with God(s) and to know such a thing was possible, there would be stories about it, right? Chanting priests or rituals or ceremonies (all conducted orally). So, Oral Tradition ought to be prior to embracing the mystical experience.

Just a thought. And that way Oral Tradition would have to come before Writing.

I really like the changes from leader names to nations on the right hand side of the screen. That's much nicer!

Question: Several times now I've started a game with a select number of civilizations. As the game progresses, a nation or two that I didn't select will show up. For example, I selected all European and Middle Eastern nations for my custom game, but later I got one from "America" and one from "Cherokee". I didn't pick them nor did I have any "Random" slots chosen for my game. Is it supposed to do that or is there a bug somewhere?

For now I'll leave it as is. OT represnts public speaking as an artform rather than ability to just tell stories.

You'll have to thank the developers of BUG mod for nation name in the scoreboard.

A feature introduced in BTS was the ability to liberate colonies. In your games an AI must be liberating its overseas colonies creating new civs.
 
Couple suggestions.

The wonder for the Amun-Ra holy city should be the Karnak Temple Complex in Thebes. (Or Iput Set in Egyptian.)

Also "Torii" are just arches. They're not even buildings, and they're common as telephone poles. They sure as heck aren't wonders. The center of the Shinto world should be the Ise Jingu.
 
Wow, that was fast, and you've added so much, even the Servo-pedia. Thank you! I still wish you added SD's tech mod. That seems to me more sensible than adding several new techs that mainly just serve as prerequisites for religions, but I'm happy enough just to have more choices.

I don't know if you did something or if it's just chance, but in the latest game I started the A.I.'s are much more intelligent and expansionist. I didn't have to drop my research spending to 0% and hold off on building settlers to keep from getting too far ahead of the other civilizations.

I do have one more suggestion. You might want to rename The Gothic Empire to Gottland or something. At least in this game, it was the only empire to have more than one word in its name, and it made the score board very wide, with a big space after the names of all the other states.

Maybe the Hellenic shrine should the Statue of Zeus instead of the Theatre of Dionysus. After all, that was in the Temple of Zeus at Olympus.

Is there any way to make the Hellenic temples smaller? They are much, much larger than other temples.

I have encountered one bug: great prophets cannot build shrines for the new religions. The buttons for the new shrines don't even show up.
