I edited 60x25 Earth map of Blue Ether for preplace all cities for strategical purpose

I give three cities to all civs but the three New World ones...

I called it v1.0...

Please feedbacking if you want

I love the map of Blue Ether :goodjob:

Its for BTS 3.13

---------------------

New in 1.12

- Religions placed in a particular logic, the strategical one.

- Barbarians more strong

Hope you enjoy it...

Balancing is hard, level recommended is Regent or Superior

It is not intended to be accurate by 100/100 but just have a max of fun on an Earth Map not too big :goodjob:

Yes, but i should request a standard Earth Map for 18 Civs 100x100
according to Worlsd in 4000 BC by Wikipedia Sources :)

Jeelen can you make this map ? And prename the 18 civs, i will made the rest ? Ok ?

isnt it ?

Strange, no download effectued :)

I have an idea, a 4000 BC on Blue Ether map should be feasible or its too small ?

updated to 1.2, see post 1

(I see I missed 2 posts) Well, I don't actually make maps... but I'll see if I can up with something. (I'll be back!);)

No problems ;)

Can you take on Wikipedia.org the infos for preplace civs of 4th millenary before Christ ?

Can you rename the 18 civs on Amra 18 civs standard map ?

I would like 18 most importants pre-civs + others by representing them by cities, you can fill up the maps by fully barbarians cities and set the map to unreazables cities....

I will after you a work of balance in tech and units...

I discovered that if we place in ALL barbarians cities, the barbarians are more ressourcefuls...

Thanks if you can :goodjob:

Actually I want to do some text editing for MOO2Civ tomorrow, but I'll see what I can do. (Text editing being rather dreary stuff and all, I may appreciate the diversion.) Talk to you later.;)

PS: I gather you prefer the Amra map then? (The other one has a couple of barb cities preplaced, but not all appropriate - for instance Babylon, which could be an actual civ.)

Oh why not after all ?

The idea is to run the World of 4000 BC to 2050 AD with the cultures of 4000 BC, it is ok

I've checked Wikipedia and collected the following list so far for around 4000 BC:
1. Trypillian/Cucuteni Culture (Eastern Romania)
2. Yamna Culture (Southern Ukraine)
3. Maykop Culture (Northern Caucasus) (semi-)nomadic, iron working
4. Uruk
5. Minoa
6. Mehrgarh (Central Pakistan)
7. Naqada Culture (Nub/Ombos)
8. Nok (Central & Northern Nigeria)
9. Yangshao Culture (Central Yellow River)
10. Hongshan (Northeastern China)*
11. Dong Dao (Vietnam). bronze working

* could be extended with a few others

Most of these cultures have no evidenced cities, (villages maybe). This need not be a problem if the 1st city listed for each culture goes like (from top to bottom):
- Cucuteni
- Yamna
- Maykop
- Uruk
etc.

This way, each civ can just start with 1 Settler + 1 other unit.

The civ list might be extended to 12-13 (adding 2 more Chinese)**, filling slot 14-18 with minor civs (taken from a slightly later period). Barbarian cities might be placed somewhat away from the player civs, to include still later civs.

** Or 2 more European cultures, which I found along the way.

Any thoughts?

ok, my civIV encounters problems, its strange :(
