Save attached. In the save, Catherine and I have a defensive pact (which can be seen by initiating dialog with Catherine, going to Discuss, and hovering over Defensive Pact, where it states such a pact is already in place).

Two bugs to report relating to this:

(1) If you go to the Diplomacy Overview screen and look under the Diplomatic Stances tab (I think that's what it's called...where you see the Pact of Secrecy and stuff like that with each player), under Catherine, it doesn't list anything -- it should list the Defensive Pact.

(2) If you talk to Catherine and ask to enter a Pact of Cooperation, she refuses. Very strange behavior for civs with a Defensive Pact in place! We'll defend each other, but not cooperate?

I also never got a message saying the Defensive Pact had expired 30 turns after it was put in effect -- it just quietly went away.

I have never gotten a message that any AIs signed defensive pacts either, although I don't have evidence that any of them ever actually have signed defensive pacts so I don't know if that part is a bug.

Thanks for reporting a problem and attaching a save file.

See the attached thumbnail. It shows the Defensive Pact, in the Deal History screen. Were you looking for something like that?

I don't see the option to ask for a Pact of Cooperation. However, it seems to me that a Pact of Cooperation is weaker than a Defensive Pact, so there would be no need to enter into one. I think that not getting a notification about a Defensive Pact expiring is a known problem. I'll check on it, though.

You're right, it is in history. Good point on Pact of Cooperation -- prob not an option b/c I asked not long ago.

I guess my original report was to point out it wasn't on the 3rd tab (Global Politics) but your pacts of secrecy show up there...it is on 2nd tab as you point out -- so now that I know that, the part is more of a feature request than a bug. The bug is no indication of expiration on the reminders right side of main window like you get with open borders, trades, and other deals.
