Hey,

Have done a forum search and I'm fairly sure this hasn't been posted before, so here goes:

I can play the game fairly normally, but when I go to save it, the input from the keyboard and mouse doesn't become associated with the save-game window, it still affects the game itself, example:

Playing game.
Press Ctrl-S or bring up save game window via menu.
Click the name of a saved game once.
The camera moves, as if I'd clicked on normal terrain, i.e. as if the save game window wasn't in the way.

A minor irritation but a bug nevertheless, makes it tricky to save games as you can't alter the filename, that input goes to the game aswell, so trying to put a space in the file name ends the turn.

A fix would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to post your specs and DivX log for the tech gurus here to check out. Actually, this problem sounds a lot more like a conflict with something on your own machine, to the effect that the control-S combination is pre-empted by another piece of software that has already staked out a claim to it. Just my opinion, mind you.

Its been noticed and mentioned a few times, however, the more attention brought to the issue, the more likely it will be addressed (along with the plethora of other extremely obvious bugs). It certainly wont hurt to have it mentioned over and over, regardless of what some may state.

Make sure you send Take 2/Firaxis a tech support email about it, so as to provide them with the least amount of plausible deniability when it isnt fixed in the next patch..
